The Sixth Order

raw white or raw black · $149 (24 in) · $229 (36 in) · $299 (48 in) · none in stock yet

This is a Roman pillar that I designed and 3D print myself. Classical architecture has five orders of column. This is the one the year 3000 added: eight deep round flutes, a round disc at each end, no corners anywhere.

It comes in pieces that push together, no glue. The base fills with sand, so it stands heavy and ships light. Raw means straight off the printer in matte PETG, white or black. Keep it raw or paint it.

The first ones are printing now. Leave an email with the size and color you want, and I’ll tell you when yours can ship.

Details

  • Three heights: 24, 36 and 48 inches. The discs are 9.75 inches across (24.8 cm) and the column is 6 inches (15.2 cm) on every height; only the column gets longer.
  • Pour sand or gravel into the base (not included) and it stays put.
  • The pieces push together and line up on their own. Nothing to screw, nothing to glue.
  • Use it as a display stand, a plant stand, a side table or just a pillar.
  • It’s 3D printed in PETG plastic, matte, in raw white or raw black.

Good to know

  • Because it’s 3D printed, you’ll see fine layer lines up close. That’s normal for this kind of piece, and the matte finish hides most of it.
  • Raw pillars take paint well. If you want yours painted, dipped or glossy, tell me in the notify email and I’ll let you know when those are offered.
  • Ships within the United States. Taller pillars ship in sections.
